COVID hid a lot of things

There had to be a lot of leeway on the ground for staff that physically had to be there all the time and the job could be done no other way.

That meant we took a blind-eye to some things recognising that some rules would be a hindrance if they were strictly enforced.

That was then, this is now and we are no longer working within COVID and data subjects are seriously starting to want copies of their records to understand the quality of the information and why certain decisions were made.

Health record requests are likely to increase, and even with giving access to them via the NHS App or EMIS (as an example), requests will never go away because you cannot guarantee what the clinician sees is what the patient gets to see.
