One of the good things about data protection legislation not changing is that it keeps the human element involved with automated decision making.
There always has to be a person at the end of the chain taking responsibility.
ChatGPT, Copilot and other types out there all have their place and are great for finding source materials but you still have to check that the source material is right, unbiased and even at times making sure it was not made up by someone else or the AIT itself.
AI is not an excuse for not learning, not being original and not developing your own style.
When it comes to making medical conditions that is even more important especially if clinical staff want to have a profession – by all means use the tools that are available but it is the human side of the clinical profession that patients want to see.
