Read/skimmed the new Darzi report and it is not saying anything that is a real surprise.
The real surprise will be if the government can make changes without making things worse.
There is a lot of wasted time in the NHS where the focus is on picking up the pieces rather than making sure that things go right.
There is also the standing joke about whether we are working on “NHS time” which bears no relation to real time in the real world.
Complaints resolution is one area – take it on the chin and correct it if something has gone wrong rather than be defensive.
