If you use NHS Mail, some big changes are coming and with 40% of the NHS no longer using it, unless something major happens more organisations will move away from it.
The big problem is that since it was created around 25 years ago, times have moved on.
The idea of a single email address across the NHS no longer works and has become outdated as the NHS itself has changed.
Add in things like increased security, cutbacks linked to how much it costs to operate and general no one buys the main selling points anymore and it is clear that something is going to give.
