Very definitely harder.
Staff are stepping up but I do not believe that senior management or the organisation itself is stepping up.
So long as IG remains a “hidden service” it will get worse in the same way that so long as NHS organisations do not understand their responsibilities around Subject Access Requests or FOI requests, things will get worse.
If organisations do not want staff to do the work, they need to focus on improved systems or processes – still spending money but less money rather than the preference of no money.
